Netherbury flora and fauna monitoring

The Netherbury Nature Group has started a year-long project of recording the flora and fauna of the village and surrounding countryside. The aim of this venture is to establish a comprehensive list of wild species present at this time. Such a document will enable us and future generations to compare the status of Netherbury’s wildlife due to changes in climate, land management and other factors in years to come.

Members of the group will be providing records of species seen (or heard) including date, location and OS grid reference. Records will also be welcomed from Netherbury residents as non-members of the group.
