Malcolm's Dead Hedge
My attempt at making a dead hedge.
Far from being ‘dead’, it will be a haven for all manner of wildlife, where hedgehogs could hibernate, birds and bugs shelter and nest, and also be a useful way to dispose of brash and garden waste.
It will form an effective and stock-proof barrier, whilst at the same time be a ‘safe corridor’ for small mammals and invertebrates. As it develops, it could also be a foundation on which honeysuckle and other climbers grew.
