Cogden Murmurations
Inspired by friends in the Netherbury Nature Group Karen and I went down to Cogden Beach yesterday late afternoon to see the starlings. I have seen some fairly famous murmurations (Somerset Levels at Ham Wall, Brighton Peer) but Cogden surpassed both. It was a truly spectacular and thrilling site. Get there by 3.45 pm and walk down the beach to West Bexington. This picture gives a small glimpse of what you might see.
